A little history...

Wooldown House was originally a full board guest house, bought in 1934 by Roger's Mum and Dad. Cyder Cottage was bought in 1937. In the early 1940's Sunny Corner was also purchased. Wooldown was changed into self catering in 1972. Roger and Susan took over the business when they got married in 1974.

Since then, there has been many changes, the Woolbarn was converted in 1998, and the three barns (The Olde Coach House, Wagoners, Stable Barn) were converted in 2001. Sunny Corner has been completely refurbished in May 2006. The Woolbarn was refurbished in April 2007. Wooldown Farmhouse has now been refurbished in April 2008.

After 18 months of building work, the five brand new luxury barns just for couples was completed on the 8th August 2008.

We know how important your holiday is, we go on holiday too (occasionally!), and we all worry about what to expect, that's why we work hard to make sure our property won't let you down.

We hope you enjoy it here as much as we do, we look forward to meeting you.
