
There are many activities available for you to enjoy while you stay at Wooldown Farm.
'Splash' swimming pool in Bude and 'Harlequinns' leisure (just opposite) has 10 ten pin bowling lanes and one of the biggest indoor childrens adventure play areas in the South West perfect for a rainy day.
Approx 30 minutes away (drive) is The Milky Way Adventure Park, with live shows, slides and rides, more information: The Milky Way, there are many other adventure parks in Cornwall which you will find out about in the information pack provided at the start of your holiday.
Surfing
There are at least seven surf beaches to choose from within 5 miles from Wooldown Farm. If you have never surfed before, there are several very good surf schools in Bude, including:

Walks
Cornwall has 300 miles of coastal footpath, which forms part of the South West Coast Path. A very popular route is to take the foot path along the old canal into Bude.
The South West Coast Path website shows the route, if you click on the link below a page will display with a route in the area. If you click on the map you will see our location, in the bottom right corner with the name 'Wooldown'.
Cycling
North Cornwall has some great cycling coastal routes. The coastline is the highest in Cornwall, offering spectacular views. There are a great variety of routes to enjoy from idyllic rural routes, family routes to challenging off road routes. You could bring your own bikes, or you can hire them in at Bude (2 miles away). You can also cycle the popular old canal into Bude.
Golfing
There are several golf courses in the area such as Holsworthy, Trethorne and Launceston. The closest is the Bude & North Cornwall Golf Club which is located in the center of Bude surrounded by the town, coast and countryside. Another very good golf course is Ivyleaf, which is open 7 days a week and no booking is required.
Watersports
North Cornwall is the ideal place for a range of watersports whether its out at sea or at the Tamar Lakes (approx 20 minute drive away) where the watersports centre at the Upper Tamar offers sailling, windsurfing and kayaking for indivudals, families and groups. Visitors can benifit from tution from their qualified instructors and also hire equipment.
Fishing
In Cornwall you are never far away from river, sea or stillwater. The Tamar Lakes (approx 20 minute drive away) can be enjoyed by coarse anglers where permits are available from the permit kiosk on site at the Upper Tamar.
