There are plenty of walks in the area that can be enjoyed such as the Hele Valley Trail which joins onto the idyllic canal path that leads to the seaside town of Bude (two miles away). If you are feeling a bit more adventurous, the walk extends to encompass the rugged coastline from the town, back towards the village, where The Wier (tea room and bistro) is situated. Perfect for couples looking to relax and admire the view overlooking the lake.
The charming seaside town of Bude, two miles away, has a selection of good quality shops, fine restaurants and public houses. The Corn Keep is also ideally located if you intend to visit other popular Cornish towns, such as Padstow, Rock (35 miles), Port Isaac (25 miles) and Boscastle (15 miles).
