We currently are able to offer a wired plug which can be used in any electrical plug socket in all properties, except the following:
Please be aware that our internet connection can be very slow and is not guaranteed to be available at all times.
We do have an area which you can use to connect your device via a wireless connection. Wi-Fi is available in Wooldown Farmhouse and in close proximity. Please ask us on arrival/during your stay for further information.
Towels are not provided in:
The first set are provided free of charge in the other properties not listed above.
Towels can be hired from us @ £3 per set (this includes a hand and a bath towel). This can be done when booking or at any time during your stay.
Beach towels are not provided.
All beds are made prior to your arrival. You will need to bring your own cot linen if you need it.
If you require a travel cot and highchair (stair gates are provided in some properties) please state this upon booking.
For safety/noise reasons we can only accept babies under 10 months in either the Woolbarn or the Stable Barn.
All other two person properties are for adults only.
All kitchens are fully equipped so you shouldn't need to bring your own cooking equipment, if you cannot find anything that should be in the property just let us know and we will do our best to help.
Morrison's supermarket is just 2 miles away.
A vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board is provided in all properties.
We do not accept pets in any property or on the Wooldown site. Breezelyn boarding kennels and cattery are located just 2.5 miles away - www.breezelyn.co.uk.
Smoking is not permitted inside any buildings at Wooldown.
You can check the price/availability of all our properties using our online booking system and continue to book and pay if you wish, alternatively, you can email us with your requirements or give us a call.
Payment can be made online, over the phone or by post.
A deposit is required to make a reservation. This is a minimum of 25% of the total cost of the accommodation, or £50, whichever is greater.
We will not take any unauthorised payments from you. If you tick the ‘Please automatically process balance using this card’ when booking then we will take the balance payment on or after the balance due date, when this happens you will receive an updated receipt by email.
As well as our cancellation cover, it is strongly advised that guests take out personal insurance for their holiday.
Our cancellation cover may only be taken out at the time of booking and only applies to holidays booked at Wooldown Farm Holiday Cottages.
If you have to cancel your holiday for one of the reasons listed below you are covered up to the total amount of monies You have paid to Wooldown Farm Holiday Cottages for the related holiday, up to and including the day before Your holiday, provided supporting evidence is supplied i.e. Doctors Certificate, Redundancy Notice, etc.

Cancellation cover does not cover termination/cancellation of Your holiday by the owners of Wooldown Farm Holiday Cottages.
If you wish to cancel your holiday, you should notify us immediately by telephone and this should be confirmed by email or post within 5 days.

In both cases, any credit card charges will not be refunded.
If notice of cancellation for any holiday at least 10 months prior to the holiday start date, an unconditional refund will be given minus an administration charge of £20.
As we offer couple and family orientated holidays we are unable to accept Stag, Hen and large group parties.
You can pay using a credit or debit card using our online booking system or over the phone. Some credit cards incur a small surcharge.
In some cases we will agree payment by cheque, all cheques should be made payable to: ‘Wooldown Holiday Cottages’.
After you have made a deposit payment you can pay by installments, providing the final instalment is made at least six weeks before your arrival date. Please contact us to arrange this.
All properties are available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival until 10.15am on the day of departure.
Departure time is: 10.00 am in Wooldown Farmhouse, Olde Coach House, Wagoners and Sunny Corner.
If you arrive earlier into Cornwall, please telephone us and we may be able to let you into the property earlier if it has been fully cleaned and prepared for your arrival.
A welcome tray with home made cakes, sachets of tea and coffee are normally provided in each property before your arrival.

We will then show you where to park, around your property and deal with any queries you may have.
