Energy saving

• In 2010 we installed 41 solar panels on our new cottages, unused energy is supplied back into the national grid.
• Energy saving lights/bulbs are used where possible.
• Heating times are constantly checked and optimised depending on occupancy and the time of year.

Recycling and waste management

• Cardboard, paper, glass, plastics and cans are recycled - separate bins are provided, guests are encouraged to separate waste so that it can efficiently processed.
• Re-usable (Tote) shopping bags are provided in each property.

Local economy and transport

• Information packs are provided within each property and contain details on local farm shops, places to eat etc.
• Bus timetables, local walks and other information is also provided.

Cleaning

• The majority of our cleaning is done with ecological cleaners.

We are a member of the Cornwall Sustainable Tourism Project (Coast - www.cstn.org.uk) and strive to continually improve this area of our business - therefore, if there is anything you feel we could do better please just let us know.
