History

At the start

Wooldown House was originally a full board guest house, bought in 1934 and run by Roger's Mum and Dad. Wooldown was changed into self catering in 1972, a few years later Roger and Susan Blewett took over the business.

2006

Over the years, Roger built up a heard of 100 dairy cows.  Diversifying into beef for two more years, until 2006 when plans to start work on the farm buildings took went ahead.

Today

Today, it remains a true Cornish, family run business.

There has been many changes, from the on-going renovation of existing properties to the conversion of the farm buildings. A total of 20 properties are currently operated as self-catering cottages, all offering the flexibility of any day arrival/departure.

We all worry about what to expect when going away, that's why we work hard to make sure our properties won't let you down, if there is anything you need we are on-site so you can make the most out of your stay in Cornwall.

We look forward to welcoming you to Wooldown Holiday Cottages and hope you enjoy it here as much as we do.
