Hell's Stone - Whisky
The first Cornish whisky made by Pocketful of Stones is named after the legend of the patron saint St. Michael the archangel, and his mighty battle with a dragon possessed by the devil. The whisky is lovingly made using the finest craft beer which is distilled in Jackson, a handmade copper still.
The whisky is then aged in used oak barrels, under the protective shadow of St. Michael’s Mount. The evaporation which naturally occurs during the ageing process is known as ‘the angel’s share’ - fair recompense for defending Cornwall from the devil!
Nose: Honeyed grains, hint of caramel
Palate: Fresh & smooth - vanilla, almond undertones, hint of marzipan
Finish: Complex & lingering - notes of vanilla & a slight sea freshness
Bottle Size: 700ml
Alcohol Content (ABV): 40%
Made in: Cornwall
